Advert evaluation home learning

Hello Year 12 students,

Well done on completing your adverts. They were all very good and it is clear that you have all learned a lot about filming and using I Movie.

Below is a copy of the home learning task I set on Wednesday. Please complete this on your blog by the end of Monday 28th September.


1)Please establish a blog which you will use to record the progress of your practical production work. The title should be:

2) Write an evaluation of your advert. Use the following pointers to guide you.

Explain the brief you were given.

Explain the reasons for completing this task. What learning was involved?

Describe your initial idea for your advert. Why did you choose this idea?
Who was the intended audience? Why would your advert appeal to them?

Describe the planning process including storyboarding, organising actors, props etc.

Give an account of the production process. What did you do well? Did you have any problems? What did you learn about the filming process?

Evaluate your finished advert. What are its strengths and weaknesses? How successful is it? What would you improve?

What have you learned while doing this task?
